Lord, there is something I have done that I cannot seem to forgive myself for, even though I believe You have forgiven me. Your word says You have removed our wrongs as far as the east is from the west; help me let them go that far too. I keep dragging this back up, replaying it, punishing myself with it. If You have buried it, teach me to stop digging it up. Where I have genuinely wronged someone, help me make it right as far as I can. But free me from the endless self-condemnation that keeps me stuck and does no one any good. Let me accept the grace You have already given. Help me forgive myself, Lord, as fully as You have forgiven me, and move forward in freedom. Amen.
