Lord, I am asking You for true friends — the kind who love at all times and stay close when life gets hard. Your word says a friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity; lead me into friendships like that, and make me that kind of friend in return. Where I am lonely or surrounded by shallow connections, bring people of depth and loyalty into my life. Help me be the one who shows up, listens, and stays, rather than waiting to be pursued. Heal the wariness left by friendships that hurt me, and give me courage to be known. Surround me with good and faithful people, Lord, and let me be good and faithful too. Amen.
