Lord, I want a stronger faith, and like the father in the gospel I find myself crying, I believe — help my unbelief. That is honestly where I am: real faith and real doubt living side by side. Thank You that You did not scold him for it, and do not scold me. Grow my faith, not by demanding I feel more certain, but by showing me more of who You are. Strengthen me through Your word, through answered prayer, and through the testimony of others. When doubt comes, let it drive me toward You with questions rather than away from You in shame. Meet my unbelief with Your patience, Lord, and make my faith strong. Amen.
