Lord, I lift up single mothers — women carrying the work of a whole family, often alone, with a strength that deserves honour rather than pity. Your word says strength and dignity are her clothing, and that she can laugh at the days to come; let that be true of every single mum, including the one reading this. Their families are not broken or lesser; they are whole, and held by You. Give these mothers rest when they are exhausted, provision when the money is short, and people who show up to help carry the load. Steady them on the hard nights when there is no one to share the worry. Remind them that they are not failing, that they are more than enough, and that what they are doing is sacred work. Surround their children with love and good influences. And clothe these women, Lord, in the strength and dignity Your word describes — and let them know how deeply You see, and honour, all that they do. Amen.
