Lord, I am stepping into retirement, and this change is bigger than I expected — exciting and disorienting at once. Your word says there is a season for everything; help me embrace this new season rather than mourn the old one or drift through it. Thank You for the years of work behind me. As the rhythm of my days changes, give me purpose that does not depend on a job title — people to love, things to give myself to, ways to keep growing. Guard me from boredom, from feeling useless, and from measuring my worth by productivity. Provide for me, and steady any anxiety about the future. Lead me into this season well, Lord, and show me the good You still have for me to do. Amen.
