Lord, I come asking simply for provision — for what my household genuinely needs, not far in the future but now. Your word says You supply every need according to Your riches; I hold to that even on the days my own account says otherwise. You know the bills, the empty stretches before payday, the quiet arithmetic that keeps me up. Provide what is needed, in Your way and Your timing, even when it does not look like I imagined. Keep me from both anxiety and greed, and make me generous rather than grasping even when things are tight. Teach me the difference between what I need and what I merely want. And where provision comes through other people's hands, give me the humility to receive it. Meet our needs, Lord, and steady my heart in the meantime. Amen.
