Lord, there is a sin I keep fighting and keep losing to, and the cycle leaves me discouraged. Your word promises that no temptation is beyond what others face, that You are faithful, and that You always make a way out. Help me see and take that way of escape before I am in too deep. Break the patterns and triggers that trip me, and replace what this sin promises with something better in You. Lift the shame that makes me hide rather than run to You, since hiding only feeds it. Thank You that my failures do not cancel Your love or my standing with You. Give me the way out, Lord, and the strength to take it, again and again. Amen.
