Lord, my wife is in line for a promotion she has earned, and I am praying for what I cannot make happen. Your word says to commit our way to You and trust You to act; so we commit this to You, hands open. If it is right, ready her to carry it well, and ready our home to make room for it. If it does not come, shield her from the sting of being overlooked and from comparing herself to whoever is chosen. Let her know her value was never up for a vote. Help me honour all she does, seen and unseen, and to be her loudest encourager. Establish my wife's steps, Lord, and let her trust You with the outcome. Amen.
