Lord, my wife is looking for work, and I watch the wait wear on her in ways she tries to hide. Your word says You take her by the hand and tell her not to be afraid, that You will help her; be that nearness on the days the silence and the rejections pile up. Lift the discouragement before it settles into something heavier, and keep her from believing she is worth less because no one has said yes yet. Lead her toward work that lets her use what she is good at and stand tall again. Show me how to support her without hovering, and how to share the worry without adding to it. Hold my wife's hand through this, Lord, and help her not be afraid. Amen.
