Lord, my son is slowly getting better, and I want to simply be glad — but my mind keeps running ahead to scans and check-ups and the question I cannot stop asking. Your word tells me to trust You with all my heart and not to lean on my own understanding, that if I acknowledge You, You will make his path straight. So I am trying to stop mapping a future I cannot see and to hand the road ahead to You. Strengthen what is still weak in him, and let him grow back into himself — louder, hungrier, more like the boy he was. Quiet my need to control what only You can hold. Make his path straight, Lord — one I do not have to see the end of in order to trust. I give You my son's tomorrow. Amen.
