Lord, I lift up my pastor, who carries weights that most of us never see. Your word says leaders keep watch over our souls and will give an account; help them do that with joy rather than exhaustion. Strengthen my pastor in body, mind, and spirit. Guard their family, their marriage, and their own walk with You, which the demands of ministry can crowd out. Protect them from discouragement, burnout, and the criticism that wounds. Give them wisdom in their preaching and their decisions, and courage to lead faithfully. Help me be a source of encouragement rather than another burden. Bless my pastor, Lord, and sustain them in the work You have called them to. Amen.
