Lord, my mother has spent her strength on her family for so long, and now I want to pray strength back into her. Your word pictures a woman who girds herself with strength and makes her arms strong; renew that strength in my mum, especially as the years take their toll. Where she is tired, weak, or facing more than she should have to, hold her up. Honour the strength she has poured out by giving some back to her now. Let her lean on others, and on You, rather than always being the strong one. Help me strengthen her as she once strengthened me. Renew my mother's strength, Lord, and carry her through what is hard. Amen.
