Lord, my husband has diabetes, and I hold a quiet worry for his health that I rarely put into words. Your word says You keep him from all harm and watch over his life; watch the parts of his body I cannot manage for him. Help him stay faithful with the carb-counting, the finger-pricks, and the insulin, even when he is sick of all of it. Keep his glucose from swinging, and shield him from the damage it threatens over the years. Give me the wisdom to encourage without turning into the diabetes police, and patience on the rough days. Give his clinic and his GP good insight into his care. I entrust my husband's health to You, Lord, and ask You to help us face this side by side. Amen.
