Lord, my friend is in a season that worries me — a situation that does not feel safe, and a danger I cannot simply fix from where I stand. Your word says, keep my soul and deliver me, for I take refuge in You; so I pray those words over my friend. Guard their body and their spirit. Be a refuge for them in the very places I cannot reach, and put people around them who will help carry the weight. Give me wisdom to be genuinely useful — to show up, to listen, to know when to act — rather than just worry from a distance. Where there is real danger, deliver them; where there is fear, steady them. I cannot keep my friend from every harm, Lord, but I can bring them to You. Keep them safe. Amen.
