Lord, my friend is going through a season with no peace in it — the kind that frays a person from the inside. Your word asks the Lord of peace Himself to give peace at all times and in every way; I pray exactly that over my friend. Quiet the turmoil they are living with, and give them moments of calm in the middle of it. Show me how to be a steadying presence — to sit with them, to listen, to lighten the load in practical ways rather than just say I am praying. Where I cannot fix what is stealing their peace, let my presence at least be a comfort. Lord of peace, give my friend Your peace. Amen.
