Lord, my father has diabetes, and I am praying for a man who shrugs off his own health more than I would like. In my worry for him I call out to You, trusting that You hear. Help my dad take this seriously — to follow the plan, watch what he eats, and not gamble with his health out of stubbornness. Hold his glucose steady and guard him from the harm that careless management invites. Give me a way to nudge him without nagging, and grace when he digs his heels in. Let his doctors get through to him where I cannot. Watch over my father, Lord, even the corners of his health he ignores, and move him to care for himself better. Amen.
