Lord, my little one lives with pain no child should have to bear, and it breaks my heart to see it. Your Son invited the weary and burdened to come to Him for rest; gather my child into that rest now. I ask for relief and healing, plainly and hopefully, while trusting my child to You. Ease the pain, and let them still find moments of play and joy between the hard ones. Give wisdom to the doctors who manage this, and patience to our whole family. Help me carry what they are too young to carry alone, and to keep their world as gentle as I can. Give my child rest, Lord, and bear the weight that is too heavy for them. Amen.
