Lord, my little one is sick, and there are few things harder than a small child who hurts and a parent who cannot make it better. Your word says You send Your word and heal; send that healing to my child now. Ease the fever, the pain, the discomfort, and let them rest and recover. Hold their small body in Your care, and guard their tender heart from fear. Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses, and patience to me through the broken sleep and the worry. I ask for healing, and I trust You with my child, who was Yours before they were mine. Be close to my little one tonight, Lord, and bring them through this. Amen.
