Lord, my marriage is wounded, and I ache for it to be whole again. I will be honest: I want restoration. But Your word teaches me to do my part — as far as it depends on me, to seek peace — and to leave what I cannot control in Your hands. So I am not going to tell You how this must end; I am asking You to work in both our hearts, mine and my spouse's, in whatever way is true and good. Where I have added to the hurt, show me, and give me the humility to own it. Soften what has hardened. Where there has been betrayal or deep wounding, bring honesty rather than pretending. Give us both wisdom, and people who help us see clearly. And give me a peace that does not hang on the outcome — whether this marriage is restored, or You carry me through a different ending than the one I am praying for. Do Your gentle work, Lord, and hold us both. Amen.
