A prayer for you

Prayer for Love and Trust

Two things easy to want and hard to live — especially when trust has worn thin.

bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
1 Corinthians 13:7 (WEBBE)

Lord, I am praying for love and trust in my relationship — two things that are easy to want and hard to live. Your word says love bears, believes, hopes, and endures all things; grow that resilient kind of love between us, not the fragile kind that folds at the first disappointment. Where trust has been worn thin or broken, help us rebuild it slowly and honestly, with patience on both sides. Make me trustworthy myself, not just demanding of trust. Heal the suspicion and self-protection that keep us guarded. Teach us to be safe people for each other. Where trust must be earned again, give us both the humility and the time. Bind us together in love that lasts, Lord. Amen.
