Lord, I can barely find words tonight. Hope feels like something other people have, and I cannot see a way forward at all. I am not going to dress it up for You — You already know how heavy and dark it has become. Your word does not flinch from the dark; it says that even the darkness is not dark to You, that the night shines like the day to Your eyes. So be here, in this dark, with me. I am not asking to feel suddenly fixed; I am asking You to help me stay, to get through tonight, and then the morning. Hold me when I cannot hold myself. Remind me, gently, that this feeling is not the whole truth about me or my life, even when it insists that it is. Give me just enough light for the next small step — and the courage to reach for a hand, Yours and a real person's, rather than carry this alone. I am still here, Lord. Stay with me. Amen.
