A prayer for you

Prayer for Healthy Boundaries

For learning to say no without guilt, and to stop being defined by everyone's needs.

But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes' and your 'No' be 'No.' Whatever is more than these is of the evil one.
Matthew 5:37 (WEBBE)

Lord, I struggle to set healthy boundaries — to say no without guilt, to stop rescuing everyone, to stop being defined by other people's needs. Your word says to let my yes be yes and my no be no; teach me that kind of clean, honest speech. Show me where my lack of limits has left me drained, resentful, or used, and give me courage to change it gently. Help me draw lines out of love and self-respect, not out of anger or revenge. Let me hold them kindly but firmly, even when others push back. Free me from believing that a good person never disappoints anyone. Give me wisdom to know where the lines belong, Lord, and the steadiness to keep them. Amen.
