Lord, I come asking for Your forgiveness, carrying things I have done and left undone that weigh on my conscience. Your word promises that if I confess my sins, You are faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me completely; I take You at Your word. I name before You the specific wrongs I am aware of, and the ones I cannot even see. Thank You that Your forgiveness is not grudging or partial but full. Help me receive it rather than keep punishing myself for what You have already pardoned. And let Your mercy to me make me merciful to others. Wash me clean, Lord, and free me to walk forward unburdened, grateful, and changed. Amen.
