Lord, diabetes is now part of my daily life, and the constant management of it can feel like a second job I never applied for. Your word reminds me my body is a temple of Your Spirit, bought at a price; help me tend it with care instead of resentment. Give me the steadiness to keep on top of the readings, the meals, and the doses, and the grace to start again on the days I slip. Hold my sugars in a safer range, and spare me the long-term harm this can do. When the routine of it wears thin, refresh my resolve. I ask for healing, and I trust You with the long haul. Help me look after the body You gave me, Lord, and stay close on this road. Amen.
A prayer for you
Prayer for Diabetes
When managing it day after day is exhausting and easy to resent.
“Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.”
