Lord, I do not know which way my career should go, and the not-knowing is its own kind of weight. Your word promises that You will instruct me and teach me the way I should walk, with Your eye upon me; I need that guidance now, because every option has its pull and I cannot see far ahead. Quiet the noise of other people's expectations and my own restlessness long enough to hear You. Show me the next step, even if You will not yet show me the whole staircase. Where I am chasing status or running from fear, redirect me toward what is honest and good. Give me the patience to walk it one stretch at a time, and the trust to follow even when the path bends out of sight. Lead me, Lord, and I will go. Amen.
