Lord, my parents are getting older, and watching them grow frail stirs up love, worry, and a quiet grief all at once. Your word promises that even to grey hairs You carry us; carry my mum and dad now, in this season of decline. Give them health for as long as possible, dignity always, and peace about growing older. Give me wisdom for the hard decisions ahead — care, support, where they live, how to help without taking their independence. Guard our relationship from being strained by the stress of it. Help me honour them in their weakness as they once cared for me, and to treasure the time we have left. Carry my aging parents, Lord, and give our whole family grace for this road. Amen.
