Lord, I am in recovery from addiction, and I am learning that getting free is not a single victory but a daily choice. Your word promises that the One who began a good work in me will carry it through to completion; I cling to that on the shaky days. Thank You for the freedom I have found so far. Strengthen me to keep showing up — to the meetings, the steps, the people, the habits that keep me well. Guard me from complacency and from the lie that I can handle it alone now. When cravings or old triggers come, give me a way through and the humility to reach out before I fall. Carry on Your good work in me, Lord, one day at a time, and do not let me give up. Amen.
A prayer for you
