Lord, I long for our home to be peaceful — not just safe from outside harm, but calm within its own walls. Your word pictures Your people living in peaceful dwellings, in secure homes and quiet resting places; make ours that kind of place. Where there is tension, short tempers, or old hurt between us, bring healing and gentleness. Quiet the noise and the rush that crowd out connection, and help us speak kindly and listen well. Make this a refuge where each of us can exhale, be ourselves, and rest. Let Your peace settle into the ordinary moments — the meals, the mornings, the evenings. I cannot manufacture peace by force of will, but I can welcome Yours into this home. Make our house a peaceful dwelling, Lord. Amen.
