Lord, I have hit a point in midlife where I am questioning almost everything — my choices, my purpose, whether the life I built is the one I wanted. Your word invites You to search me and know my heart and lead me in the everlasting way; so search me, and help me understand what is really going on beneath the restlessness. Keep me from blowing up a good life to chase a feeling, and from numbing the questions instead of facing them honestly. Show me what genuinely needs to change and what I simply need to make peace with. Renew my sense of meaning and Your call on my life. Lead me through this unsettled season, Lord, gently and wisely, and into something truer. Amen.
