Lord, as our church takes on this building project, we begin by remembering that unless You build the house, the builders labour in vain. So we invite You to build with us, in more than bricks and mortar. Provide the funds needed without striving or strain, and unite us rather than dividing us over money and decisions. Give wisdom to those planning, managing, and giving. Keep the workers safe throughout construction. Above all, guard us from confusing a building with the church itself — let any space we create only serve the people and the mission. Build this project, Lord, for Your purposes, and let it be a place where many meet You. Amen.
