Lord, the economy is in crisis, and fear about money has crept into every corner of life — prices, jobs, savings, the future. Your word tells me not to be consumed by anxiety about tomorrow, that each day has enough of its own; help me live one day at a time when my mind keeps racing to ruin. I bring You the very practical fears: the bills, the shrinking budget, the what-ifs that keep me up. Provide what we genuinely need, day by day, even if it is not what I had planned. Steady me from panic-driven decisions, and keep me generous rather than fearful and grasping. Be with everyone hit hardest by this — those losing work, homes, and security through no fault of their own. I cannot control how the wider world recovers, or whether it does soon; I can only trust You for today and do the next right thing. Be our provider and our peace, Lord, through an uncertain season. Amen.
