Lord, we come together to pray, and we begin by turning our eyes to You. Your word invites us to worship and bow before You, our Maker; so we quiet ourselves and acknowledge that You are here. Thank You for the privilege of coming to You together. Clear our minds of the distractions we carried in, and focus our hearts on You. As we open this time, open us — to Your presence, to one another, and to whatever You want to do among us. We are listening, Lord. Lead our prayers, and let this hour be filled with You. Amen.
