Lord, I am waking already tired, and I need strength I do not have on my own. Your word says You give power to the weak and increase the strength of the one who has no might; that is exactly where I am this morning. Meet me in my weariness. Carry me through the demands of today — the tasks, the people, the things I am dreading. Where I am running on empty, refill me; where I want to give up before I even start, steady me. Help me lean on Your strength rather than gritting my teeth through my own. Renew me as Your word promises. Be my strength today, Lord, from the first hour to the last. Amen.
