Good morning, Lord. Before the noise of the day starts, I want my first words to be to You. Your word says that in the morning You hear my voice, and I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly; so here I am, bringing You the day before I face it. Thank You for rest through the night and for fresh mercy this morning. I hand You my plans, my worries, and my hopes for these hours. Lift the heaviness that some mornings bring, and help me begin again with a hopeful heart. Walk with me from the first moment of today to the last thing tonight. I greet this day with You, Lord. Amen.
